A global pharmaceutical distributor was losing distribution center talent in a tight labor market. Leadership suspected pay was the culprit, but the reality was more complex: the entire experience — from the moment someone was hired to the moment they decided to leave — needed rethinking.

THE WORK

We embedded in distribution centers across the U.S., shadowed employees in their daily routines, mapped the emotional and practical pain points across their journey with and within the organization, and co-created experience and benefit solutions directly with the people they’d affect.

Within weeks of presenting our recommendations, the CHRO greenlit internal pilots and mobilized task forces to begin testing solutions at scale across sites.
